Lorie Williams is the Manager of the Summit County Community & Senior Center. Lorie has worked at the Center in different capacities for the past 9 years and finally landed the job she has always wanted. Lorie is a Summit County Government employee. Lorie’s responsibilities includes overseeing everything from grant writer to reporter, SCSC Liaison, senior service programs, building manager, representative to partner organizations and staff team member. Julia Rothschild Gidney, CMP

Events Program Manager

Julia has been at the Summit County Community and Senior Center since September 2014 and in Summit County for over 20 years. She previously worked at St. Anthony Summit Hospital in ER Registration as well as Vail Resorts in Conference Services and Sales. Julia has a daughter who is studying at University of Colorado, Boulder and her husband is a psychologist in Frisco. Julia’s parents live in Asheville, NC at a step up senior living community so she understands the needs of seniors. Her responsibilities are scheduling all of the meeting space for senior, county and community events as well as working with the chef on all catering. Julia.Gidney@SummitCountyCo.gov

Niki has been at the summit County Community and Senior Center since the Spring of 2013, and in Summit County for over 15 years. Her family keeps her busy with all the girls sporting activities, demanding school schedules, and planning the next adventure! Niki is committed to connecting seniors to our local community and services. She is responsible for the front office operations including SCSC membership, promoting senior programs and services, and supporting her dedicated front desk volunteers. Sara Hopkins

Sara Hopkins

Cook & Kitchen Manager

Sara has been at the Community and Senior Center since May of 2015. In 2005 she decided to make a major life change and move to Summit County to experience mountain living and embark on a new professional adventure. After attending culinary school at Cook Street School of Culinary Arts in Denver, she began cooking professionally in 2012. Sara creates the menus and provides communal meals three days a week to our seniors and works closely with the catering manager on any special catering events that take place at the SCSC. She finds great joy in providing services to the senior population and enjoys getting to know new members and working with the volunteers. Sara lives in Silverthorne with her husband and their two furry children Sara.Hopkins@SummitCountyCo.Gov
